I have a 07 h3x with the stock navigation touch screen with separate xm module. Basically things were working and now I can only barely hear the music if I turn it ALL THE WAY UP. besides that, it just pops and cracks to the beat of songs. I ordered up another XM module to see if that would fix it..and it did the same thing. so I am not sure what this could be...anyone dealt with this or have any idea??

Radio and cd player work fine. this is just in regards to the XM.

 

I'm assuming you replaced the harness when you put the new module in as well? Sounds like you could have a short somewhere causing signal loss or interference, just to make sure the harness is tight on the back of the radio as well as the XM module.

 

no , harness wasn't changed. Do you know where I can get this new harness?

Everything worked fine. and then it rained really bad for days..and I don't know if that was coincidence, but when I cranked up next time, this is when it wasn't working anymore.the volume all the way up.I can barely hear music if I stick my ear to to speakers, otherwise it pops and cracks
