I am not sure im clear just a auxiliary port spliced into xm socket or a plug kit ending with a auxillary port

@NOSpoon - thanks!!

@JohnnyReno
Sorry updated from tablet and links got smooshed together

If you want only an AUX PORT in the XM radio - get this:
H3 Quick n? Simple Auxiliary Audio Input ? Schwarttzy

If you want to use your phones Bluetooth capabilities (unless you have a super old phone that does not have Bluetooth) then I suggest this:
https://www.amazon.com/Kinivo-BTC450.../dp/B009NLTW60

*If you use bluetooth, you get to play music from your phone, hear navigation from Google Maps or WAZE, and you get hands free calling (in addition to whatever you can do with your phone hands free)

For example in my h2 with this setup, I usually play TuneIn Radio (way better than XM in my opinion) while using Waze for navigation. If my phone rings, I can tap the Kinivo disk which will answer the phone and pause/silence TuneIn Radio and Waze, When I am done talking I can tap Kinivo to hang up and it resumes TuneIn and Voice navigation of Waze.
Also I can say "Ok Google [pause] Send John Doe a text message", to which the phone over the h2 speakers will go "What message do you wish to send?", I say "I am bringing beer and will be there in 15 minutes. Need anything else?"....then phone on car speakers reads back message and asks "Do you wish to send? Say yes or cancel"

so "just about" everything is hands free

If you are looking just for AUX, get Shwarttzy item and forget Kinivo

Atari, you can confirm this (The Aux Input) will work on the H2 ??
The question was asked on the link you provided and got the response from the manufacturer:
"It won’t work because I think the plugs are different. If I could find a test vehicle, I would love to develop the equivalent for the H2 Hummer".

I have a 2005 H2 with Navigation and XM.. You think this would work ??

I originally bought this for my h3, until I replaced the OEM radio with an Android based radio.
I can confirm that adapter works in:
2007 Jeep Liberty Sport
2008 Hummer H3 Base
2007 Hummer H2 Lux

My history:
I had Liberty 2007 and then bought the H3
H3 had no navigation but it had XM. After the 3 month trial (and learning that Sat radio is limited) I decided on a project of getting music to play off of my cell phone.
I found Shwarttzy's site. I purchased the AUX adapter cable from him. It plugs right in. I plugged in from my phone to the aux, it played music however answering the phone was a problem.
I decided to get a replacement radio to get navigation and marry up to the phone and things like that. Basically tether internet off my phone and have an android car radio in the H3 do everything else.

My Jeep Liberty also had OEM radio. I figured what the hell, let me see if this fits. BINGO it did, and it worked...but I had same problem with answering phone.

I did a quick search and found the Kinovo blue tooth device and I had hands free voice control and music in my jeep.

I eventually sold my Liberty and got an H2. I figured what the hell, let me see if it works in the h2.
It does and I got hands free voice control and music in my h2.

Thanks Atari. My 05 should be like your 07. Is the XM Box located behind the Glove Compartment like on the H3 ??
