It never hurts to ask if the dealership will meet/beat the price. As my dad always said, "The answer is always "No" until you ask!"
I think you will be pleased with them, and yes, I have abused them pretty hard. They are not indistructable, but they are pretty tough.

Just for grins, compare the total shipped cost versus the dealership cost. I would go with the cheaper of the two.

 

Simian be careful the templetes my friend got were bad at least a 1/2" off. Hope you have better luck. Looking forward to your report.

Just viewed there website my friend had a jeep and he had to use a templete to mount his. It looks like the H3 should mount using the factory holes. One thing to add; they are truly rock soild and heavy.

 

I'd heard the same thing about the RRs.. One other thing I've heard I'm not fond of is the fact that when they mocked up the first set to use as a template, they missed the #3 support bar because there's a big sticker on the frame that covers the bolt holes.. Last I heard they have not corrected that.. However, they have enough faith in the product as is, that if they EVER fail, as long as they are still in business they will replace them at zero cost...

 

Well, I took Linus' advice and finally bought the factory-style rockers. I'm not much of a handy-man, so I figured I'd save myself the frustration of non-fitting RRs. Got them from an on-line store on eBay called Part-Industries (?). The total was about $50 cheaper than GM Accessories. I'll send an update once I receive and install them.
