WOW WHAT A DEAL !!!!
I stopped off at our local Hummer dealer to get my wife an H3 for her birthday. As I spoke to the salesman we ran the numbers on a fully loaded H3 with everything from bumper to bumper. The final price quoted was about $41,000 before any rebates. I rolled it around in my head for a few min. and the salemans mentioned a preowned H3 that came in the day before on trade for an H2. I stepped out to look at the truck and it was just what I was asking for but a year old with low miles. The prior owner must have dreamed of owning an H2 because this baby was decked out with everything! It even had a winch that was hidden behind the front bumper. The H3 was incredible! Due to the crazy economy I guess the dealer was eager make a sale. We settled on a sale price of $21,000 with $9,000 in trade for a 2004 jeep liberty with 49k miles on it. Needless to say I jumped all over this deal and my wife has been the happiest I have ever seen her with a vehicle. I also own an H2 and we live out in the country on a large spot of land. I made us seperate entrance to property that takes us over a large ditch just so we can fun comming and going.I just wanted to share this little story, because there are deals out there, just keep your eyes pealed. Purchase was made at Lou Sobh in Duluth Georgia. These guys were great. I walked in and walked out the same day without any issues.
$21,000 on a used H3 isn't really that great of a deal right now.. A friend of mine picked up a NEW 2008 Rubicon on Saturday. It stickered at $32,000.. They drove off in it for $22,000.. Local Hummer dealer here still isn't cutting any deals off of what the factory is listing. And they aren't selling much either.. Go figure..
While I'll grant that $21,000 is not a GREAT deal ona used H3(you can get a new '08 H3 for around that price), you've got to consider the Bling! that comes with this one (I mean that in a good way). Bells and whistles are nice on any old car, but they can really be a blast on a Hummer!
I would agree on the price issue, however the bling this joker has on it places the price tag way up in the range of a good deal. Besides who wants one that does not have some goodies on it. I'll post some pics and share some fun
I totally agree that He DID INDEED get a good deal BECAUSE If you added up ALL the Extras that they got on the used Hummer,,,He came out WAY ahead RATHER than buy a New Plain Jane H3 and then start ADDING ALL the EXTRA GOODIES....Way to go guys and Congrats on making the Better Half Happy
I think I test drove the H3 you bought abouta month ago. It was anice one. I wanted that winch! Did it have a addon backup sensor?
I ended up finding an 06 with lux/adv/nav with 48K miles on itfor $18K from an individual. The miles were a little more than I would have liked but I love it so far.
