Hummers are only responsible for about 1/2 of accidents and 2/3 of oil use.

I agree with both you (GB) and Importkiller. Part of the fun of this site is how a thread will start and then weave around off topic then go back. Does anyone here go to work and focus on work only and talk only about work. No, but this is an anonymous place and I think one of the few outlets for people to vent. I work in a conservative corporate environment and due to some hole in the system am able to access this site durig work hour. If I did not have this outlet I would want to scream. I think it important to understand people do not mean a lot of what they say here and are not the raving maniacs in public as they are in an anonymous forum. Having said that there is obviously a standard to maintain as things can quickly disintegrate into a bathroom/gay bashing rant.
The thought police need to chill or you will soon be all alone!!!

well i'll take the cowards road and decline to call out other forums as "bad" in public, but sometimes they honestly surprise me. if you want some work-place entertainment, the simple drama that can unfold as members fight with each other on some other forums is reasonably remarkable. and funny at times also.
To play the devils advocate I'd offer that what hummer forums really need is positivity, because when you add up the FUH2s and enviros and jeepers (and everybody else who has a 4x4 and a king-sized hummer complex) and on and on, there is enough negativity aimed by misguided souls in our direction. So i think keeping hummer forums on the up-and-up is probably a good goal.
Again, i really haven't seen anything that i thought was "negative" or whatever on this forum, which is why i like to post here.
And, as much as anybody on the planet, i love a good debate. And in that way, i guess i like a little "combativeness" as well. But for the most part, jeepers and enviromentalists and wheover else would like to debate don't post here, so alas...

According to my coworkers, I should be arrested for treason because I am helping the middle-east get rich by driving a H3, which in turn makes me a supporter of the big T word (which I can't say because I'll probably be watched for the next 20 years)
