hey guys i am one of the few guys that a p/u was intended for, so my ? is has anyone asked if they can be upfitted with a plow? call me stupid but that's the reason we have trucks imo, to work .

 

Someone mentioned this in the H3 forum a while back and I think, if I remember correctly, a plow can be outfitted for the 3 or 3T, but the Tranny can get overworked. Try a search and the post might come up.

 

they have weak tranny's in them, how do you think theyre gonna hold up off road?

 

The Trany is just fine for them STOCK but its like anything else if you modify your truck you must modify everything that might break behind it, its kinda like a chain its only as good as the weakest link ...Meaning that if you add a plough then you might have to reinforce the frame (thats what the kit is for) add a trany cooler at the least, you are going to be working it that much more, both with the extra weight and load. You would with a towing a trailer right? Upgrade the charging system there will be alot more of a draw with adding the hydrolic system, add a secondary fuze block for the wiring. its very easy to overload the electical system in newer cars and trucks.

I have been racing cars and trucks for 30 years and have seen cars go up in flames for not the adding cost of a 12 doller part, i have seen guys build high hp engins and not upgrade the brakes, sure it go's fast but how do you stop? just my 2 cents.
