Just found out from the dealer that I have to get 20" winter tires. The brakes are so big that the 17" OEM won't fit!!!

I asked them to check cause one website said "must have 17" or larger", but one said "19" or larger!!!

Oh well, time to track down some take off 2008 SE 20's!!!

 

Kinda sux...but you got a long time to find em' before winter... So is the Princess gonna be out of the shop tonight? [sm=pimp.gif][sm=pimp.gif]

 

Yeah, they called me NOW and said sh'd be ready by 5:45!!

One small problem though?? They said the lug bolts are too long to put the center cap on. So I have to get a set of shorter lug bolts.

Kinda weird as ALL the sites that sell these rims say there are NO MODIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THE HUMMER H2??

So I'll take some quick pics and post them after 2am CST, but remember, the center caps won't be on YET!!!

 

What kind of work you doin' up in this neck of the woods?

Mis-communication!! It's the LUG NUTS that are too long to put the center cap on!!!

Not a BIG DEAL, I just have to hunt down some shorter lugs Saturday!!!

we are waiting for the pix got to see the brembos installed....did you tell the mechanic to shoot some while he puts them on [sm=Flahssssss.gif]and try to give the before and after performance.....I'm thinking about that mod before I ride my Rig over to Lithuana [sm=gears.gif]
