Default The Wonderful World of Hummer!!

Yeah, I'm obviously new here! We just picked up a 2007 H3 and have fallen in love with it. I'll be 100% honest, we walked into the stealership to look at Trailblazers, Envoys, Tahoes, etc. After driving all of them and even a Saab SUV...we didn't like any really. I am tall and so are my daughters so the extra cabin room is great!!! The Tahoe was decent but didn't give that feeling of driving that the H3 did. Well as a last ditch effort the salemen suggested the H3. We never even considered them before so we said..."why not". Well the wife and I quickly fell in love with it. While she test drove it I looked up reviews, ratings, nada pricing and all the other good stuff on my smart phone. We got back and the negotiation bagan. We walked out happy as hell and couldn't wait to pick it up the following day.

It's been three weeks now and she had to go back to the stealership once for a cracked radiator (top plastic) and broken passenger mirror motor. Weird items but they were great and replaced both and even provided a loaner. The TPM monitor has come on a couple times so I have been watching that closely. We are still in the bumper to bumper warranty so all is good right now. So far it's a blast to drive and gets the same gas mileage as our old Grand Cherokee Limited. Glad to be a Hummer owner and looking forward to a good experience and some activity on this forum. Seems like a decent place so far.

These pics are nothing special but I figured I'd post some up!!

Our 15yr old daughter is excited to learn how to drive in the H3.

Thanks for the (1) welcome. I'll be honest I was hoping for a better welcoming to the site lol.

Also, is it me or does the forum slow down at times?

Summer is always slower, especially toward the end of summer as everyone gets their vacations in and does the pre-school stuff.

Welcome Mr. FP. Enjoy your new to you HUMMER! May I suggest a Daystar Dash Star for your sunglasses. I have one in each HUMMER and like the extra storage space they provide!

Yeah, it has been slower than the other forums for quite some time.

The 2007 Adventure Package came with a Locking Rear Diff. & a 4:1 transfer case!
