With or without spare tire carrier?
Citiboy, is that...is that a jack hanging off the Gobi? How in the name of all that's Canadian do you get the spare down to change it? How did you even get it up there?? So far I've got to say, you and LoJac963 have the most-highly accessorized rigs on the site!
A while back i was contemplating the rear spare tire carrier. I decided not to. As much as having the spare inside sucks and takes up alot of room. I really dont like the looks of the tire hanging off the back. I can also see how it would be an inconvenience everytime you want to access the rear storage. Its also alot of extra weight to have hanging off the back of the truck.
A jeep looks naked without a rear tire carrier. A H2 looks big and chunky with the tire carrier. Too each his own. Not for me though.

I choose to remove the rear spare tire carrier because when i off road and the truck is in awkward position (off-camber) and i want to open the rear hatch, i have to fight with the heavy carrier. Now i have better rear access and visibility.

Are you referring to ebay auction? if so they were my tow hooks that sold for $180. I have another set on ebay for sale. Hummer H2 Rear Tow Hooks Set of 2 Left Right Black Factory | eBay
It's a 60" high lift all cast jack (Hi-Lift All-Cast Jack - Lifts, Winches, Clamps,&More | Hi Lift Jack Company) mounted on a gobi high lift jack attachments (Gobi Racks - Hummer, Jeep, Toyota Racks). It's a 2 healthy canadian person job to get the spare up and down...lol!
