It seems that most of the online parts stores think that most of the wipers they carry are not suitable for the H3. Amazon tells me that the Rain-X Latitude can't be used and Tire Rack doesn't list any wipers at all for the H3. Other stores have similar listings. Is there something I need to know? As far as I can tell, all the H3 has a generic hook type arm - the same mount that is found on virtually all of the cars I've owned over the past 15 years or so, for which I've bought wipers strictly by size - the 'universal mounting kit' takes care of the rest. What's going on here? Is there more to consider besides the mount? Could it be the relatively flat windshield surface of the H3 gives these blades fits? Or is this part of a vast left-wing conspiracy to make life miserable for people who actually enjoy their cars?

 

That's strange..I just bought my wipers from www.thetirerack.com just a month ago for my H3.
Check again.

 

Pretty easy really. They are all the standard hook wiper arm.

Driver side: 17 inch;
Passenger: 16 inch;
Rear: 12 inch.

I just was at Autozone, I put on Bosch Icons for the front last March (at Murrays with a 25% off coupon), but my rear wiper was toast from all the lovely weather recently, so I put on a Duralast for the back. The zone had them all in stock, Bosch, RainX, Anco, Duralast....

The trick with the rear is to turn on the key, turn on the back wiper, and when it gos all the way up, turn the key off real quick so you can access it for the replacement.

I gotta tell you, the Icons are great in the winter. I will be getting another set when these go.

 

I'm tickled as punch with my Valeo wipers. I 've had them on my past two rides.

I just got off the phone with the local AutoZone store.
At first he said both wipers are the same size, then upon his reading a bit more discovered what I told him I thought was true, drivers side 17" passenger side 16". He has just ANCO Contours in stock at this time. The Bosch in olny one size and the Rain-X in one size.

Go with the Bosch ICON. You might have to do a little searching because none of the stores around me carry the ICON in 16". I surmise you could get away with using a 17" blade on the passenger side, that's only an extra half inch on each end of the blade. DO NOT try the trico one piece blades, they may be cheap, but you get what you pay for.

 

autozone told me once that its a 16 and a 17 blade but every where else its the same.both of mine are the same size

 

Got the 17" and 16" rain x latitudes last month from Autozone.

 

I bought the ones from Checker that you cut to fit and slip back in, cheaper and they are good ones....
