Stupid question, but what size wiper blades are you guys running on your H3? Every listing I see calls for 16" (even a few 17" for Driver side); I have 15" on mine and I really don't see how any bigger would fit. The 15" reaches the top of the glass on it's sweep.

 

for some reason it calls for 16 and 17. i just use 2x 16 to keep simple. if 15 works id stick with it. i may go there,less drag?, may last longer!
none seem to last.

I just double checked with a piece of string (from the pivot point to the end of the blade), and it seems that a 16" might work (1/2" longer each end) but it would literally touch the window moulding on the sweep. I can't see how a 17" would work, but maybe I'm over thinking things.

 

10389555 and 10389556 are the OEM numbers refills and retail for 7.92 each from dealer


10389563 and 10389562 oem full blades at 12.09 each

 

We use 17" on both sides on both rigs. Nothing hits the moldings.

 

Interesting. I guess next time I need wiper blades, I'll try the 16"/17".

 

I know it sounds stupid, but not all blades are the length listed. Different brands, different lengths. Maybe 1/2" difference or so.

 

Just in case, I thought I would add my input. 17 inch for drivers, 16 for passenger and 10 inch for the back window. That has been what I have been using for the last 5 years.
