Winter heating problems..

Since I've added coolant the level has not moved from what I have inspected. I cannot currently smell coolant but I have in the past. Last time I got a flush is when I had the radiator replaced at about 89k now has 110k. In the past the temp gauge always sat near or just below the half way marker, now it sits a bit past a quarter to the about half when moving, and when she idles for a bit the temp gauge will climb to about 3/4.

Resister has nothing to do with heat. The blower moter resister acts as a dimer switch for your fan. If coolant doesnt help try a premium thermostat. It will open at a lower temp heating your truck faster, and in return heating your cab faster. Also make sure you have the re-circulate function on. Makes all the difference.

Not that difficult after you remove the drivers side wheel and inner fender. 2 bolts and a hose clamp, make sure you clean the engine mount surface before installing new 1 and replace band clamp with worm gear clamp.
