Dealer info!![:@]

well, Monday am I leave for work and its pooring rain.
I get in the H2 an Ive got water coming in thru the head liner in several places.
LOTS of water pourining inside my ride.
So, I dropped it to the delaer thinking, Ok. no sweat, its under warranty...

Well, the dealer was kind enuff to inform me the following-
The factory warranty expired last nov.
Freaking BS! Ive only got 18K miles on it. (3 years my rear!)
(Good will should have been applied due to extreme low miles but I get nothing.)

And to ice the cake, the Extended full coverage warranty has exclusions..
GLASS and WATER LEAKS!!!!
Bastards!!!!
I got royaly ****ed by the system!

So now Im out over 1500.00 for the windsheild and the outside overhead lights as the seals were gone causing the leak.

Thanks for quality and classy service, GM- youdishonorable low lovel pri-cks!

END RANT!

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. $1500 seems a bit high for windshield and seal though. What year is your truck?

Hey Copperhead,
I"m on my 4th windshield. If you live in a place where it is cold at night and hot in the day, then this is an issue. I lived in New Mexico when I replace all my windshields. I would get hit with a tiny rock while driving and within minutes or the next morning, I would have a crack all the way across mywind shield. Damn, your replacement was expensive. The highest price I paid was 700 for the first couple and then I found a place that did it for about 400. Sorry to hear! Geometry and engineering is everything. GM did not replace any of my windshields. They told me from the first one that glass was not covered and that I was basically screwed. I was pretty pissed myself. The only things that they have covered were the recalls. I am now replacing the AC compressor and have had some noise at 45 since I got my truck. I still love it but it does try my patience.
