window issues

Default window issues

I have a 2004 H2, and my rear drivers window, fell down into the panel, and they said at the mechanics it would be 500.00 for the motor and regulator assembly , becuase GM only sells the parts togethor, even though i only need the regulator assembly? can anyone help with some advice please??

Welcome to the forum. You should be able to find one online. I know someone who found just the regulator for a Cadilac online. Don't remember the site though. Just do a search.

Many of the GM parts interchange - Most auto recyclers (junkyards) have a parts interchange guide that might tell what other GM models might use the same regulator. I had a similar problem with another GM product and was able to find the regulator and motor for $75.00.

I have a hummer service manual but can't really figure out how to take off the window motor and front door panels.
