I've replaced a 30A Windows fuse 3 times now. I'm assuming a SHORT. Calling local dealer to discuss the situation tomorrow morn(7/20/09). Anyone encounter fuse issues or Shorts? Ill reply back when issue is resolved.

 

I had a Tahoe that did that. The module that fits in the door had a dead short to ground. I had to replace the module. I knew a guy that had a repair shop so I got the module (front passenger side) at cost (about 110 bucks). Problem is that after you install that, the remote locks\unlocks assy's need to be reprogrammed. This might not be your failure but that is what happened to me. Good luck mate-M

 

Haven't had any problems here, but heard of guys getting water into the harness at the door and making their windows do all sorts of crazy stuff. Hope that helps and good luck
