hi i just wanna ask if anyody has install a winch on their trucks, i want to install a warn winch to my h3, but i still dont know if it would be better in the inside or outside. what do you recommend me. thanks

When I get my tax return, I am getting the Predator system from Teka Toys. I like the clean look of the internal set-up. Don't forget to change the cable to hi tek rope.

what about the powerstation i think it is by WARN, it has winch and aircompressor built in

 

You mean the "Powerplant" by Warn. It's is cheaper to go with a $75 aircompressor and a $600 winch though. The powerplant will run you $1200 atm.

 

There is another in bumper winch mount by Defelice Innovations defeliceinnovations.com that looks nice also. I am leanng toward that one if I get a winch for mine. Steve

but i just put my winch on over the summer and built my own mount but after a few uses, it seems like the mounts that have the spool hidden would be a pita. things like overspooling, knowing how much cable is out, pinching the line.... i would get nervous if i ever spooled out more than 20 feet and i couldnt see the spool as it went back in!
