Will 315s rub, or any other issues?
Mickey Thompson MTZ 305/70R16..... Made in The USA, right in OH. Not a true mud tire, but more agressive than an AT tread. I really, really like the way they ride, look and handle, on and off road.
Same width as the 315s, but 33" to keep my final drive ratio stock for the modified I5. Check out some flex w/ no rubbing.

I have Mickey Thompson MTZs on my H3 and was pleasantly surprised how quiet and good they handled on the road. I only took them wheeling one time so far but I was impressed with how they preformed offroad in mud and sand.
Nothin wrong with Duratracs, I've wheeled with a few guys that have had them. Check the sidewall plys? Consider MT/R w/ Kevlar? Choices, choices.

I had them in the 285/75R16s for about 10K. I wasn't a real fan of them on the road. They made the H3 feel ... "loose and squishy" compared to the MTZs. I think it has to do with the tread and the sidewall being 2 separate looking pieces. Oh and recovery from one side of the rig going off the pavement was a chore also.
I have sold them and I am glad I did. Got another set of MTZs for Mr. Blue. Once the MTZs on Mr. "T" wear a little more I will be trying out the SS M-16s form Interco (they make STTs, Boggers, Truxus, etc.)
I have owend a lot of different tires over the years and the Duratracs just didn't do it for me. Most people who spend $XXX on tires will tell you they are the greatest tires in the world just because they spent their hard earned $ on them and they don't want to admit they don't care for them.
Just my $0.02
