Let her have the base model, trade her FJ in for a nicer one. Hide the keys everyday after you get it.

 

trade the other 2 vehicles in on another Hummer, get a few bells and whistles on it. Chances are she'll want that one(she sounds like a smart cookie)and you'll get your base model back. Problem solved.

HMMMMM, I beg to differ actually - I have never in my 21.5 years of marriage said "NO," regardless of the time, place, mood or inconvenience!...now why would I want to cut off my own nose to spite my face?[sm=drooldude.gif] I just prefered to get em where it really hurt... the wallet!

I did buy a stick. She loves it... As a matter of fact, her FJ is a stick also. Before that she had a Red New Beetle Turbo with a stick. Before that a Red Honda S2000 with a stick. Hey, I've noticed a trend here. It's the color Red. My H3 is red. Her FJ is yellow. She couldn't get the FJ in Red. I bet that's it. But, fair is fair. I should let everyone know that she has returned the keys to me and has not driven it in a couple of days.

 

Hey....that's a pretty sexist thing to say....My Mustang is a stick and I love to drive it. In fact, I refused to buy an automatic transmission. When we got the Hummer, I kept trying to clutch and shift until I got used to it....So some of us "girls" aren't helpless and CAN handle a manual tranny, you know.
