I'm gunna hafta stake ya too though, ain't I!? That's the part IDON'T like LOL!!!!!! I've only been staked ONCE in my life ... I wanted to play the tourney and couldn't afford the buyin back in those days ... we were 4 people splitting a $1,000 dollar buy in and any profits of course went 4 ways too. We all ended up with about $1,500dollar profit each when it was said and done If I recall correctly this was 14th or 15th spot .. still was a nice payday though :-)

First off im no rich person....im a Staff Sergeant in the AF...I make about 39,000 a year. I bought my 95 H1 becuase ive always wanted one. I had a jeep when I was younger and it was a blast...but I always wanted a all black H1...and I found it. And I agree with whoever said it...$80,000 is to much to impress girls. Ive got a beautiful girlfriend, and shes just as happy driving in my 93 Geo Metro.....but she does say Im always in a man contest, even though I dont mean to, with every SUV out there....and she says I always win. Some people look at the H1 as a status symbol....I look at is as a dream come true.

That's how I look at my H2. I never thought I'd be able to afford one but due to some changes in my financial life the opportunity presented itself far sooner than I expected. I personally don't care all that much as far as how people see me or the truck ... it's what *I* wanted and I can afford it so why not? I will admit the attention you sometimes get at the parks can be a lot of fun .. seeing H1/H2/H3's pull in is not very common, at least not where I normally go to offroad .. the kids love em and always come running up to look at the rig and some adults do as well ... usually to make fun of my "tahoe" ... but with the proper education a lot of the ones I've run in to actually seem to walk away with a different appreciation for my Deuce .. and many of them are amazed to see just how capable it truly is ...

No, 80 grand is too much for YOUto impress someone ... the person with a 100 million dollars to their name wouldn't think twice about it :-) It's all relative to your financial abilities my friend. Not saying you're unable .. simply stating that what may not work for you isn't necessarily wrong or too much .. just a different view point of it, that's all :-) It's all about how vain you are I guess .. and hopefully there aren't any/many of them around here :-)
