They are nuts if they don't bring out the HX.It would be like driving to the one yard line trying for the winning score and not running the last play to see if you can win.

I could handle them **** canning the next gen H2, and even the next gen H3.....

Extended life cycles for the current offerings with some minor tweaks is ok for now.

But to put the HX/H4 back on the shelf.....It just seems insane to me.

With all of the positive reaction to the concept, plus the buzz from being
in the GI Joe and X-Former movies...They had the PERFECT opportunity,
if timed just right, to make one hell of a product launch.

At this point, I would almost rather see GM sell the brand out right. Perhaps the
new owners would show a little more corporate enthusiasm towards the brand
and pull off the wet blanket GM has thrown all over it......

I've had three people tell me (in store parking lots when looking at my H3) that
they were seriously considering a H3 purchase, but with all the bad press from
GM, they are now looking elsewhere. JK's and FJ's......

Great googley moogley.......

I AM!!! For a replacement for my H3, it's too small. So I will probably buy one just for wheeling. I figure it will tow nicely behind a H3 with a V8.

I agree! GM has shown no committment to the Hummer brand. It's no wonder that GM has never had a vehicle line that gives Jeep serious competition. At this point, I think it would be better if GM self off Hummer. While I don't like the prospect of Hummer being owned by a company from India (Tata) I would hope they would keep the American factories open. Maybe some fresh ideas and capital would help the Hummer brand. Hummer's biggest problem is not the rising price of gas, but their image.
