Default WhooHoo PCMforless you rock!

Just got back from a road trip with my second tank of gas after installing the PCM upgrade from Kelly. Almost 2 mpg improvement, and it should get better. Let's see, at $3.49 per gallon, I should have payback in a couple of months. Thanks Kelly.

$3.49 per gallon? Must be nice. I just filled-up this weekend for $4.10 per gallon . . .

Good thing I get 22+ MPG out of mine! :-) Gotta love that 5-speed.

No. I have done a lot to my truck to achieve this:

* Five-speed manual transmission
* Gibson cat-back exhaust
* K&N Air Filter (Not the CAI)
* Stock tire size.

I am sure I could get higher, but I am not about to drive that slow!

This is on level ground with average speed at 65MPH and not playing the "hurry-up-to-the-stop-sign" style of driving.

However . . . I like to drive fast, so my real-life average is about 18-19 MPG with my average speed at 70-75 MPH.

cbetts, we are still a rare breed, us 5-speed'ers. You are in the same boat as I, getting 20 to 22 MPG but having to go slow to do it. My numbers are almost exactly the same as yours, only I have a stock exhaust.

22+!!!? I checked mine today. Hopefully it's a bad estimate because it was only a half a tank..... 9.43 mpg, i don't understand it, I wouldn't think 35s would make that much of a difference.

I don't believe they are site sponsors any longer. You can PM them at kelly@pcmforless.com I believe is her username here.
