Who HAS NOT had sunroof leaking issues?
06 H3, purchased in July 05 when you had to pay sticker or buy something else. 79k, only parked in garage recently. No roof leaks to my knowledge, though I have noticed some water on floor behind passenger seat recently (prompting the new garage parking), but just haven't had time to investigate. I've had a few trucks in my life, and several cars. In the end, I look forward to driving my H3 every time I get in it. Isn't that the reason for owning a particular vehicle? What fun is getting a good deal on a practical truck that you don't enjoy? Just my opinion.
Occasional cleaning is acceptable....from time to time be sure the debris from the outside envroment is removed from the mechanisms and tracks...and consider lubrication...NorthEastern weather can be harsh on any vehicle...winter months in Boston can SUCK ! February is always tough...Spring is coming....a complete detailing in March is on the agenda....Happy trails.......BB
I know you said to post if yours didn't leak...but we have had so many problems with our truck, I had to post that it DID leak....It was leaking into the roof, which was going down the passenger front door panel, which was causing the door ajar light to say on....so we got that fixed and no problems since (with the sunroof)...that was in March 2009 after we had the truck 4 months. Now the truck is in the shop (and has been for 3 weeks) waiting on a blower module, since the A/C fan only blows on 4 or nothing...apparently GM doesn't have ANY around (and the ONE in Florida was broken!). This is our last trip to the shop under warranty! But after all the warranty fixes I pretty much have a brand new truck! So my 2007 will feel like a 2009 when I finally get it back!
I have had repeated problems with our 2006 sunroof leaking (pouring) into the passenger and driver sides. The weep holes clog up and we can't seem to get anyone who can dependably clean them out. GM replaced the entire seal set up at my complaint and it still leaks. It will drip from either inside corner of the roof into your lap and also will steadly drip from the roof mounted microphone above driver's head. We need to know a dependable way to keep them cleaned out. hot water is not the answer. Somebody tell me some strong chemical I can pour into weep holes every few months to dissolve whatever it is clogging them.
My 2007 H3 Adv. was fine until recently but starting about 2 weeks ago, water will pour through the OnStar mic above the drivers head in hard rain. This past June I was in FL and didn't have any problems. Torrential downpours while on I75 alligator alley with 2ft visibility and was bone dry so I don't understand what has happened between now and then as I have not done any off roading and have not got any mud or other debris on the roof.. (at least not in significant quantities) just what naturally comes with road spray. Will bring it to the dealer this week to try to get this sorted out.
I must say though that despite this aggrivation I love my H3 and still don't regret getting the sunroof. I love the sunroof option, esp. the one in the H3 as it's much larger than most other vehicles. My dad's Jeep Grand Cherokees sunroof was tiny and possibly not even worth the money.

Mine did NOT leak for 4 years!! Then, 2 weeks after warranty ended, FLOOD!!! Went to service manual and there is one drain in each corner. Used canned air to blow out the fronts, but the rears require removing the head liner!! Going to try mechanics wire up from the drain grommet from below, IF it ever stops raining!!!!
