Hello Folks,

I recently bought a 2008 H2 but there is no tow hitch at the rear of the vehicle. There is a square hitching platform for the hitch to slide into but no actual hitch itself. So I'm wondering does my vehicle not have one or is it just located somewhere inside the car?

Sounds like a silly question but I don't want to buy one if there's one in the car already, looked up the user manual but found nothing there.

That's not something that comes with a vehicle. You have to buy the right one for each trailer that you own. You have to measure what size of a hitch you will need so your trailer or whatever you are pulling sits flat. THen go out and buy the right one.

 

And you need the right diameter ball.
1-7/8", 2" or 2-1/2" depending on your trailer's coupler.
