Where does this wire harness go?
Hello all, just bought 2005 Hummer H2 SUT. There is a wire harness sticking out from passenger side, between center console and glove box. Any ideas where it should connect to or what it is "made ready" for? Already tried google/youtube but no luck. I dont know how to post pics here but let me give description. 12 pin harness with 5 wires. 1 off white 1 brown (could be faded black) 1 baby blue with black stripe 1 dark blue 1 light blue. Thanks for your time.

A pic is worth a thousand words. You would need to create something like a Photobucket account, upload the pic there, then use the IMG link to post the pic here.
It is hard to say without a pic. First order would be determining if the plug is factory or aftermarket. I would assume aftermarket since a 12-pin factory connector should be pretty important if left unplugged.

For future reference, you can post the IMG links for your photobucket pics and the pics will upload directly here.
Have you tried looking under the dash to see if anything is unplugged? If everything on the rig functions as it should the plug could have gone to an aftermarket head unit, alarm, remote start, almost anything.
You could also try tracing some of the wires to see where they are wired into.

thanks for the help.
I found this image on line. It was what I was thinking, my gf didn't understand. She the one that started this forum for me, trying to help me.
It was for a subwoofer in the center console.

hmm, an aftermarket sub? I thought the bose sub was down there somewhere. Although I've had my entire console out a few times and have actually removed my factory amp and I don't recall the factory sub unless it is further forward in the console.
