I am looking to buy a strut grille as seen in this pic



But where can I get the outter grille with the cut out in order to insert the strut grille?

I am looking for this grille as seen in pic (I outlined it in yellow)
This is the h2 grille I need.

The outer area you are asking about that houses the turn signal is all one single part. There is no "outer" grille. They are all one long piece of plastic that houses both the headlights and the turn signals.

They do not separate.

 

I think he's looking for a grill that doesn't have the 7 slots in the center, just one big opening.

 

The only grille that I am aware of that has the one giant opening is the T Rex Grille that I gave a link to.

 

I'm willing to bet that you're supposed to cut the center out of the grill/ headlight housing that is already on your H2 for the T-Rex grill to fit into it. It looks like it has a large enough flange to overlap the stock housing after the center is cut out.

 

True, but from where his arrow is pointing at, it seems like it has something to do with the turn signal area. Ive never seen the stock grille sliced up into pieces.

You do cut your existing grill (the 6 uprights with the HUMMER letters). the insert has a 1 to 1 1/2" lip that covers the cuts according to T-Rex tech support. You do not have to find a shell with the big center opening....you make the opening with what you have.
