Your stock wheel is a 17x8.5 with a 22mm positive offset.

The best offset is going to be a slight positive, like what you have. if you have a lower, or more negative offset the wheels will stick out further from your wheel well and may potentially rub. also how wide are the 20s that you are installing?
This is a 6 year old thread. Might want to consider thread title/dates next time man.

My H3 has -38 stock and I went with +12 rims and they fit fine and look much more aggresive sticking out a little..IMO. heres a pic of how much a change from -38 to +12 looks

Also your stock tires are 315/70/17 I think. They equal 34.4x 12.4
the ones you are interested in are 325/60/20 they equal 35.4x12.8 so you may see a small ride height increase but not much at all.

hope this helps!
Your stock wheels (if they were 16s) were a positive +30 offset, the wheels you bought were actually more negative of an offset (+12)and that is why they stick out. Negative offset means the center of the wheel is pushed more toward the backside of the wheel (hence the wheel has a deep dish and sticks out) positive offset ( like wheels you see on a front wheel drive car_will tuck under the fender..the lugs will be toward the "face" of the wheel so they will not have a deep dish. Most all wheel drive and four wheel drive vehicles have a slight positive offset. front wheel drives have a high positive offset. rear wheel drives have a 0 or lower (negative) offset so you get that deep dish look.
