In Erie, Pa, where snow is King, Hummers are held in high regard by everybody but Jeep owners. Jeep owners hate Hummers.....

 

Yeah, not sure why the Jeep guys hate hummers to much. Same thing here in south central PA.

Ironically I own a 2007 H3 and a 2008 Wrangler Sahara 2dr. I like both for different reasons. Originally I owned a 1981 CJ5. Still can't figure out the "Jeep wave". Back in the 80's ok, not many Jeeps on the road. Now it's become ridiculous.
And, just for the record, I never "hate" anyone for the type of car/truck they drive.

 

I've had 5 jeeps and would like another. Doesn't stop the hate oozing from many jeepers towards us.

 

I can't believe that there would be that much hate for hummer owners really. But perhaps it's a wake up call to the manufacturers to do something about the emissions and fuel economy of its cars. That and the Chinese tank comment. That's a classic. Let's just hope that we'll get a new model soon that'll give us a better public name hey?

 

They love to drive in their insignificant little bubbles. I see it as a bit of envy, jealousy and fear. I haven't got any critical reviews over the past few years. Not sure why. Im also in California. The land of skinny jean wearing hipsters. Maybe because I'm a cop and carry handguns and shotgun wherever I go could be a factor. lol Cheers.

 

99.9% postive comments, I've had people come up to me and tell me they love the truck. This is an H1 mind you. I can see the H2/H3 getting more flack.

Last time I had a negative comment it was directed at us as a group by a tree hugger having a really really bad day [police was called by him apparently]. 3 hummers was there with me on that trip lol.

 

Not sure why you would say that other than the fact that you sound as biased as the Hummer Haters.
