I live in Russia and want to buy used 2006 H3.
(we pay huge import taxes for cars younger than 2006.
New H3 price is $60-$75K).

What's the main difference between trims for 2006?
Is it true that H3x always has 18" wheels? (I want 16")
What offroad package includes?

H3X is the bling model and includes 18" wheels standard. Luxury model has leather power seats, Monsoon radio, and a few other small things (I think). Adventure includes a rear locker, 33" tires, different shocks. If you want offroad capability get the Adventure package. You can add the Luxury onto the Adventure. I don't think H3X and Adventure can be combined.

 

I don't want H3x - too much chrome is not for Moscow winter with salt on the road.

 

Yeah go adventure so you can get the rear locker.

 

Other trims has 265/75/R16. I should check availability of winter tyres in Moscow.

 

Well, if you get the H3x, and the chrome rusts due the salt, you can always take off your shoe, and beat it against the hood of the H3, and tell the chrome "we will bury you".

If it worked for Kruschev, it should work for you too.
