LOL, hard decision my friend . Everyone posting will all say they love what they have. Truely a personel decision based on everyone's comments. Look at each, it's options, integrity, locking/nonlocking, Fort Knox type security vs US boarder type security, if you'll have to remove it alot or hardly ever, material used and environment to be used in, etc. Also check out any street truck type forums and consumer product info sites and see if the type(s) you are interested get good reviews or bad along with our opinions. Most importantly take you're time and if you don't like it someone on here will probably buy it, lol. I took almost 6 months to make my decision, before I even bought the truck, lol. Made the final decision the day before I purchased the T. Came close to picking up two different used nice covers during the process for VERY tempting prices but I held out narrowing it down as well as saved a little $ along the way. I needed good security along with a really strong durable top for extra load space also, eventually hope to mount a roof top tent above it/to it and the space between top and tent will be extra storage space so I went with the Linex/Kevlar covered locking Diamond Back cover with window guard and picked up a tailgate lock, Fort Knox route. I love my Diamond Back , lol.

I know another guy who really liked his Roll-N-Lock as well.

Great choice in truck and welcome to the forum, will have had mine a year next month, had a few bugs to work out at first but I still get a smile everytime I get in the damn thing, lol. Did I say I loooooove my T, lol.

Don't forget to post up some pics when you pick one and get it installed .

If I remember correctly I got the lock from: http://www.thehummerstore.com/product/67128

I had a few places that I saw it for sale months ago saved in my favorites but have since cleaned my favorites box up and only had that one still listed. Seems like I payed only around $60ish with shipping, don't remember spending $70 plus S/H. If I come across one at a better price I'll post it up.

It was a super easy install also, roughly 10-15 minutes.

I have the Extang hard fold as well. I also just recently posted some info on the power lock that I installed on my tailgate. It is from Pop and Lock, the same company that makes the manual tailgate lock that many people have.

Yes. The PL8120Q is the power tailgate lock that I used. You should order it directly from Pop and Lock and make sure to tell them you need the H3T version. Apparently it is slightly different than the standard PL8120Q.
