Default What's with all the negativity?

I have owned my h2 for a few weeks & can't believe how negative some of my friends & co workers act towards my h2 purchase. I also read the fuh2 site & can't believe what these ignorant people say,do & think? I bought my h2 cause it was bad *** looking and was somewhat exclusive. I am a car enthusiast not all the stereo type bs the hummer haters say? Any other hummer owners experiencing the hate?

I guess it depends on where you live. I'm in a suburb of Detroit so anything AMERICAN is OK around here. My buddy who is a dentist has a few signs in his parking lot that read "Parking For AMERICAN Gas Sucking SUVs Only".

You still get the "how much do you pay for gas" comments but I look at the price on the pump and look back at them and say "same as you I hope". Either gets a laugh or a stupid blank stare either way it's priceless!

same here !i guess the're dumb xsses everywhere, i tell them,"you may use more than i,depending on your driving",,same blank stare.

next time ill try,"i get 20% off for volume purchases"!!

actually i get more compliments than complaints, last one,a lady said,"hey ill trade u cars". the ladies LOVE red!

When I bought my H3 3 years ago that was all I heard for a while, "bet you like puttin gas in that !", " what kind of mileage you get ?''.........you also detect a little jealousy even on the road at times by some road rage signs...........to me what is the difference if I drove one of the $45,000 pickup trucks out there or a $50,000 Chevy Tahoe..........they are more expensive new and use just as much gas as my Hummer H3........go figure !!!!!!!!

Depends where you live, I've been told a time or two I'm crazy for buying it, but that's about as far as it's gone.

Depends where you live, your in a very liberal area, and it shows.

I do seem to be the center of a ungodly amount of road rage, I used to be the one doing it, until I got the H2 now I'm pretty calm but all of a sudden people want to pass me like it's no goddamn bodies bussiness

But all in all I get a lot of smiles and tons of head nods and waves from random people

Thanks for the replies...I saw a h3 owner and asked them if they cought negative flack about their h3 & they said no...they never heard of fuh2 either...I told them not to bother going there as it's just filled with negative judgmental stereo type nonsense that will just frustrate you...

I get a lot of flipping of the bird on the road and nonsense. I recently got a "that's a big truck for a little girl" comment at the gas station from some hillbilly in hunting garb and an F250. I just responded "funny, I was about to say the same about you". Screw them and their comments about my truck or my size or how much gas I use. They are just jealous. Guess if you're leaving a 'footprint' it may as well be up someone's ***.

I just got my H3 about two weeks ago (or something like that) and i have heard it from a lot of family members. they keep asking why i would buy a gas hog, apparently the Excursion, Explorers, several V8 trucks that my family members own get way better gas mileage... ha!
