My Envoy SLT had the rain sensor and it was a pain in the a$$. It would often start the wipers just out of nowhere. And in the winter you had to make sure it was off as freezing rain or snow when you started your vehicle would start the wipers and tear them.[:@]
Much easier to turn them on and off manually imo.

The Hummer H3x 07 doesn't have Auto Wipers if it did I would have gotten it.
My Grand Cherokee Overlander had that feature and man was it cool.
It would automatically vary the wipers to match the rain fall amount and it really worked.

yea...my benz has the auto wiper and I will have to say it is impressive, it is extremely sensitve to how much water is on the windshield..I didnt expect them to work as well as they do.
And I think we can all agree at this point that for some reason the light sensor was mistakenly [sm=oopssign.gif]called a rain sensor and the H3 does not have a rain sensor.
