it was on the field of play.... no charges will be filed.... historically that has been the case..

 

Muddy I'm not to sure about that. NHL has been filing charges against some players and the NLL (Lax) just suspended a coach for hitting a player and charges where filed. Also wasn't there a minor league baseball player that went charging the pitcher with his bat in his hand, I think he got arrested for that.

 

maybe for the sports with weapons.... I can't think of a single basketball or football player that has been charged...
