Traded my 2004 Land Rover Discovery SE. H3---Better angles, gas mileage, regular unleaded, can fit 35's. Lower maintenance costs, cheaper insurance.

2001 3/4 ton Dodge Ram

Funny thing is I got better mileage with the Ram.

 

I saw the new Hummer H3 and I just had to have one. I also had some issues with the Tacoma and that made the decision easy. I love my Hummer and I never looked back!

 

Did not sell anything. We had just purchashed a new home, and knew in the winter we would need a 4x4 to get up the long windy driveway, and wanted some kind of SUV, and (believe it or not) wanted decent mileage. Safety was a major concern, and styling did have a part to play. A friend recently bought an FJ Cruiser, which both me and my GF liked, but the poorer visibility, and lack of comfort/safety features stopped us from considering it even though my GF loves Toyotas. We had originally arranged a deal on a used 06 H3, but it was not really the color we wanted, and a last minute call to a dealer a few hundred miles away with the exact color/options vehicle in a new 07, meant I was on a bus that night, and drove it back home the next day. We both love this vehicle. We love the looks, feel safe in it, and it's a great ride. I bought an extra set of hummer rims/TPS and put studded winter tires on for winter driving, and the traction is excellent. Unlike some *coughIK cough* H3 owners, we are getting fantastic mileage in it, so we are very pleased.

 

Sold my Boxster S!!!

I don't miss it yet, but I have a feeling I will this summer!
