Default What tires should i get?

BFG T/A KO standard on my 2007 h2 or go for the Good year Wrangler dura trac?

I do a little off road in the mud and snow but nothing to extreme. Are the Dura trac much better than the factory BFG's?? Also, which is better in the rain? Lets face it, we all have to deal with rain more than any other area of mother nature. what say you?

Any help would be nice.

I dont think you can beat the BF Goodrich tires. they wear like Iron, perform great and have an outstanding look. Another plus is they are Made in USA. I paid $250 each for the ones I just bought.

Maybe this will help your decision.

The Goodyears came from customer feedback where customers wanted a tire that did not throw mud and rocks as bad when offroading. Also wanted a tire that was more quiet. This is when the Goodyear was created.
That is what the dealer told me. Personally the BFG's look awesome and wear awesome. I want to know how the people with Goodyears like them. I love the aggressive look with the BFG's so I will buy those regardless. BFG's are awesome and I dont care about a little road noise or a little mud thrown. BFG tire looks the best on my truck and the Goodyear doesnt look that good. Hope this helps.

My second choice would be the Goodyears. I dont think either would be a bad pick.

no neither would be a bad pic by far but I feel that the BFG's look way better and last longer.

Has anyone put the Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's on their H2? I have these on my Ram 3500 and they wear much better and in my opinion, look even better than the BFG's (and they are made in the US too!)
I have 26 000 km on them now, and they actually have more tread than my H2 with only
6000 km on it!
The only thing I notice is they aren't as good in the snow, but that may be because the Hummer 4wd system is MUCH better!

The BFG AT's are OK for most summer fun, MOST! (might need a bigger lug in slick mud).
They however SUCK in deep snow on hills! The tread is not big enough to dig down and not clog up. (T/C really hoses this by activating the brakes to slow tire spin speed)
Two winters with 10-14" on the ski slope that is my driveway has convinced me to--Buy another set of wheels [Done] and a set of Mud Terrain type tires to have for winter.
