Default What sound systems are you guys running?

When I first picked up my H2 in 05, I was really interested in upgrading the sound system. I ended up just adding two subs and an amp to it and changing my deck to a pioneer double din.

Anyways... this past month I think my subs blew out as they make a weird buzzing/rumbling noise... so now I have an excuse to upgrade them

So I was wondering what kind of set ups you guys have as it'll be a great place to start gathering up ideas for which direction I want to head this time.

Btw: pictures would be a plus

JVC deck, 10" shallow sub under rear drivers seat in shallow box, 300 watt amp, sounds not bad.

Is anyone running the JL Stealthbox? I currently have two 12" subs in a custom box behind my seats, but I'm looking to free up some space in my trunk and the stealthbox seemed like a good idea. If any of you guys know where to get one for cheap ( Less than $850), that'd be great. Thanks

Here's what they look like:

I just have the factory Bose system, I think it sounds awesome, much better than the $1000 upgraded Harman Kardon system in my wife's Mercedes GLK350! There is way more bass and it sounds much clearer.

i pulled teh factory 6 CD deck out and put in a Pioneer AVHp4000DVD deck in there.

still stock speakers and amp, but those are getting pulled once it warms up.

i will be replacing the stock speakers with component 6.5s for the front.
im not sure yet on the size for the rear doors yet.

and i will replace the pillar speakers as well.

right now i have a cheapie Pyle amp thats 4000 watts x 4 ch @ 250 RMS 4oh that i will use to power either a 10 or 12 sub. i just havent found a box i like yet for under the rear seat.

the amp was originally bought to power some door speakers i have. Pyle PLG6C component speakers.. but im not too sure on the quality of these speakers enough to go through will installing the and forgetting them. im not sure how long they will last.

I still have the factory radio replace the bose system with oxigen mid-range and 4 oxygen tweeters 4 channel amp 1800 at 4ohm for the mid and 1 hyfonics 2200 mono amp for the single kicker subwoofer box the only issue im having is that the factory radio is sending engine noise to the system i need to replace it thinking of upgrading the system soon
