Hey all...I'm a Newbie here....just got a 2008 H2...
I'd like to get some aftermarket rims/tires for my new ride and save the stock rims/tires for the snow...

Anybody know what size rims will work on an H2 with stock suspension?

 

17" and up that's a 8lug. Stock rims are 17's, stock tires are 35". You can put 37" tires on stock wheel/stock suspension.

 

wheels are 8x6.5
Stock tires are actually closer to 34". 37s will fit on a stock H2 with minor rubbing.
Maybe crank up the keys if you're going with 37s, and perhaps small spacers in the back.

 

325/50/22's (34.84" tall x 12.95" wide) on 22"x9.5" +10mm offset, but I am looking to sell or trade them for something different. It is hard to find low offset 22's, so I may go down to a 20" so I can get into a -24mm offsest ..... something with an actual dish. My biggest hindrance is the tire cost. I have reasonably new 22's and going to a 20" will require 4 (5) new tires!

.... back to topic .... stock height with air ride and slight rub angainst the front swat bar at full lock turn.

 

Colbymh, are you sure 17's are stock on all model 08's. I bought my 08' H2 (used) but it has the original chrome stock wheels on it & they're 20's, just wondering if some of the 08's came stock with the 20's (they had to come stock on one of the newer models, cause the wheels are definitely stock).jmo
