Default What is this noise and more importantly....

HOW ON EARTH can I stop it?

Obviously water is getting trapped and then air flowing over it is making the gurgling sound..

Has anyone dealt with this?

Solutions?

Thanks!

Hello. How is water getting trapped? If the drains are plugged, there should be nowhere for air to get in to gurgle. I know the drains make a gurgling when they are draining. Bit if they are plugged you have to clear them first. Then get at the rubber grommets where the tubes go out through firewall and cut out the x shaped flaps in it so it drains freely.
There is alot of stuff on here if you search, even how to and pics as well.

Sunroof drains. That is what i assumed anyway. I didn't know what else would be gurgling.. Do you not have one?

I do have a sunroof, had no idea there were drains though.

That said, I checked them and they are not clogged. Both allow both air/water flow easily.

There are not only 2 drains. There are drains that run inside the posts down either side of the windshield. It is normal to sometimes hear a gurgling sound especially if there is a lot of rain.

Yea that is what i figured. The gurgling is normal. The front two drains are the easy ones to unplug, but the back ones are a bi#%&! Gotta tear apart the headliner and the back where the c pillar is on both sides.
