Hey guys, im confused on what i need for the following:

XM radio for stock headunit
Use onstar mic as bluetooth mic

I have the 6 cd monsoon system and does not have xm on it now. Ive seen some things on this but i am a little confused still. any help would be great, thank you.

my 10 has on* ,sat,and blue t
bt is part of on* and sat.
when i killed power to on* it killed bt so its in there.
i connected and it works.
i didnt want on* so i pulled the ant,the one that unscrews and killed on*,sat,out of date but still tries to work.

im not paying

i guess i am asking is it possible to disable onstar and use its capabilities as a mic via bluetooth for answering my phone.

Also, is a xm direct connect all that is needed to make my stock radio have sat radio?

 

u need to let the power on onstar,u can pull the antenna to kill it. thats what im saying!
your on*,,and sat radio must have blue t built in. i dont know what year has it. thats what im saying!
please someone say this and tell what year is needed.
i did not have bt in my 07. i dont know abt 08,09. my10 has bt.
i dont know how to make it clear
