Hey guys I found an addon my 04 H2 and am not sure what it does. I attached a picture so I hope it loads up. It is between the height control and the cluster. It has two wires running to it which are shown in the picture. I am thinking it may be for a remote start, but the H2 only came with 1 set of keys that are not aftermarket.

What are the letters on top of the button?

 

Looks like a "heated wiper fluid" switch (couldn't get to see the picture on the button to clearly).

Anyway, follow the brown wire and see where it goes. Then follow the black wire and see where it goes.

 

And it could be for a receiver for a wireless Super Chip or other type of computer.

 

The letters say MH, no idea what that means. Was hoping someone would recognize the symbol on there. I guess have to take it to my body shop and have them take the panel off and see where it goes.

 

I am willing to bet it is a aftermarket car alarm with gps & remote start. If so, the main madule is probably tucked up under the dash somewhere. Open your hood, if you have any tamper switches...you'll know right away it's a car alarm. And/or, there will be a valet switch (maybe) somewhere under the dash.

 

Thanks, will take a look in the morning. Lol remote start would be nice, but it is stored in a heated garage anyway so not critical. If it is a remote start with after market alarm how do I go about getting a remote for it?

 

Tainter had it right, its the switch for heated wiper fluid. Its the aftermarket version of the GM heated washer system that was failing.
