What DON'T You Like About Your H3?
Actually my truck is so new that I've not had the opportunity todrive it on a secluded or unlit road or highwayto see how the headlights worked. I have however used the fog lights recently when it wasraining and that helped to illuminate the sides of the road.
I ALWAYS have my driving lights (fog lights) on with my headlights. 1. I turned them off on our old 06 and I could tell a hell of a difference and 2. I think it just looks better with them on
I have a 2008 H3, Adventure package and manual trans. So far so good but I agree on the pedal spacing, my feet are too big, and I sure would like some real gauges. My only other complaint is that we have no choice on ONSTAR, you get it even if you don't want it.

(I guess this thread is alive again, so I'll add my $.02)
The fact that the rear door only swings out to the side. Makes it a PITA to haul oversized items home for building projects, etc.

I like my 08 Alpha with the exception of these misses :
1) The space between the seat and the closed door is really tight. I have small handsand I have a real hard timeto get down in there to turn on the seat heaters.
2) Thearmrest on the door and center console are way to low, the GM Ergonomic Engineer must have been 4 foot tall.
3)The headrests are non removable.
4) The rear seat doesn't fold flat and needs removeable headrests.
5) The drivers and passenger electric windows shouldhave speed down and speed up.
These appear to be mostly ergonomic, the rest of the vehicles is fine.

You should have bought a handheld cb to keep the clutter down so no external speaker needed. I think the heater controls are easy to reach. I only set my seat once and left it alone. I pay someone to change my oil. get a bluetooth ear bud for your phone. I think the dash is gm's greatest ever made for its european fit and finish without gaps and creaky plastic and the new yukon interior is almost identical to a chevy malibu from 2002 = yuk. stereo volume is okay for me. Most of the rear interior panel is half of the upper rear wheel well and the subwoofer. You can buy a rear dvd headrest kit for not too much moolah. Newer H3s have a back up cam. Nobody need to carry a liter of cola so you can stop to pee every five minutes if your me. I agree with the underhood light as its lacking one so I bought an led torch light with a magnet online. The rear cup holder only bothers me when a girl asks "hey whats this" and procede to open and close it 50 times loudly. removable head rests would be nice to fold the rear down easier as Im taller than most. Do not insult my baby as I am in love with it and will paint her name on a water tower if I have too. Ahhhh I feel better.
Damn, I'm way out here on page six.
I guess I didn't see this particular post soon enough.
I did read most, but all the replies.
It would be very smart of GM (If their still in business) to check out this post.
They could certainly learn allot
Bottom line is I pretty much agree with all your responses
I own 07 H3
$200.00 shift **** assembly, give me a break. i wanted to shorten mine
Window controls to far back.
I too sometimes tap the brake when going for the gas, too close.
No place to put a aftermarket off road GPS, but that's not really GMs fault
Removable rear headrest, just so I could see out the back window
Rear folding seats that lie flat
I would love a six speed.
I would love a diesel
I would love a rich young blond/brunette who would do anything I . . .
Sorry, i got carried away.

1.) NO FLIPPING I-POD AUX JACK!!! FOR REAL????
2.) The GM lean. 1" lower on the driver side and now .5" lower after the torsion bar crank. (5 on driver side and1onpssger side) Still looks tilted from the back! Puttin the Contigo's on tomorrow!
3.) Power window/lock locations
4.) Power/lack thereof
5.) Lack of aftermarket products (functional ones)
6.) Steering shaft thump
7.) No 2WD option
8.) Weak *** Lights!

ORIGINAL: duckstu No adjustable pedals was my biggest one, but I modified them to suit. The car seems engineered for drivers under 5' 6".
