My first car was a Rabbit imported from Germany...130mph and still had more to give...I chickened out to see how much more...Go for it...

 

The EOS has been launched here about one year ago.
The finishing is close to perfect ( the 'CARAT' version) but the car is heavy so go for the bigger engine ( here, it's the V6) since the 2.0l is not powerful enough.
When the roof is down the car tend to have a poor road handling since the chassis is not rigid enough.
I don't know about the specs in the US but here the TIPTRONIC option is a wonder.
All in all you should go for it

When I was a kid, my folks always had a green VW bus, and they always traded it in for the same exact thing, same exact color. I hated those vinyl seats. Everytime mom turned a corner, me and my sister collided into each other..hahahhaha... I won't even look at one now..hahahha... just because..hahahah

 

But in all honesty I must say that I can't recall my folks ever having problems with any of the many, many green VW buses they had. My dad suggested I get a jetta for my daughter, but I just can't make myself do it..hahahhahahha

 

Thats funny..my folks never had/nor did I, a VW, but I can remember when I was a kid..and we were out driving and seen a a vw buggy on the street,my sister or brother and I,always punched each other and said, red or ( what ever the color was, ) punch buggy no punch back...I know we were a strange family.[8D]

 

My very first car was a 1959 Bug
