I have a 2006 3.5L and I installed a rebuilt PP TB that I got from Supermodulation and it works great.

My question is what to do with the old one. Can anyone with our 3.5L use it or will it have to be programmed (fine tuned) for their engine? James at Supermodulation seemed to fine tune ( ie., mileage, VIN, lift) the one he sold me specifically for my Hummer.

Yep, but if I decide to sell it to someone else, can it be used on another i5 without fine tuning it?

Yes, you can buy them on ebay all day long, make sure to list the year. 06/07s are not compatible with 08+
