Default What to do? ABS can't stop when off roading.

When I go off roading and I am in a lot of mud and I need to stop so I don't hit a tree my ABS kicks in and I can not stop. What can I do? Also, isn't the traction control supposed to direct the power to the wheel in the front that is not spining when I am in 4-low? Because I got stuck the other day and my right wheel was spinning in the mud but my left didn't spin once...

No, its supposed to stop a wheel from slipping, a locker is what your looking to get in the front to get both wheels slipping
