Default wet rug

The carpet behind the drivers seat got wet somehow. Sunroof and headliner seem ok. No stains or any drips that I ever saw. All seals around door are good. We get torrential pm rain here in Fla maybe the window was not up tight is all I can think of unless somebody has experienced this and has another idea. Have not had a chance to hose it down to do a leak check yet. Thanks for any tips.

By the way I saw info about clogged s/r tubes but my leak is only isolated to behind the driver. Also my accessory mat that goes over the carpet was wet on top.

If you saw the thread on how to fix the clogged sunroof drains, you know what you have to do.

Thanks. I planned to do that anyway but I was not convinced that clogged drains would just wet the area only behind the drivers seat. I would think it would be more wide spread. What usually worked for me with other vehicles was trimmer line. I would periodically snake it down the drains and that took care of it.

Update: I opened up the sr drains in the rear but got at them thru the cargo area not the wheel wells. The left drain tube was just hanging loose leaking back into the cab. Also there are 4 clips on each side if the 1/4 panel that are how the flares are held on. They are not sealed. I took some silicone seal and sealed them up. Since I sealed the clips, reattached and opened up the drain tubes it's been dry. If you take the top(around the side glass) and bottom trim panels off everything is accessible. Take the seat belt bolt out and you can access the rear of the sr tube to open them up. Sorry no pics. Camera was dead and under time constraint. Hope it helps.
