Default Welcome to Hummer House

I pulled the rear seats, I left the small seat cushion on one side, it looks a bit puffy behind the seats because I have some extra sleeping bags, back up tent, clothes, etc... in the front. I have a down blanket folded up front to level it out. I sleep on my stomach and I can stretch out fine and my legs are supported good. I have a custom wells cargo trailer on order for my two races quads but I thought I would give this a shot so I can keep the quads locked at night. I like traveling alone to my races and I usually go a day early if they allow a Saturday practice. I leave for a race tomorrow moring in the CA desert, temp scheduled to be 70 at night so I shouldn't be too hot or cold.

I am happy with the results. The comp is in trouble, I'm fast after a good night sleep [sm=smiley16.gif]

The floor look relatively flat. Did you remove the bottom seat cushions?

I like the entertainment system, too.Looks like the dog house will never be the same, with football season coming we'll all need this mod.

I will take a photo when it is empty after this weekend. The floor dips toward the front seats. However, it is not bad and you can fill in the space with sleaping bags, etc to level out. In past, I would sleep in a tent on the top of my trailer, this will be much better. I left the passenger side seat cushion (small) for added support for my legs. Next step is to make magnetic screens for the rear windows. This was a win, win for me. First, I can sleep in there, second, with my trailer attached I do not have access to the rear door. In turn, when I go to the MX track a couple of times a week for practice, I can put my gear in the side doors without worrying about damaging the seats. In turn, it is functional 100% of the time for my purpose. We also have two companies cars so the H3 is just for fun and towing.

To note, I almost made a three seater. I was able to get the rear seat backs apart and I was going to remount the hardware and the one passenger side seat. However, I got it all apart except for the middle seat belt which enters through the top of the seat and the end of the seat belt is a fixed to the mounting hardware. I will scope out the mounting location to see if it can be removed without permenant damage.
