Coming home from work friday afternoon in a rain storm, I turned on the rear window wiper for a few minutes to clear the window. Did the same thing about 10 minutes later and noticed that the rear window washer was on. When I finally was able to stop, the washer container was empty and the pump was still running. I found and removed the fuse and continued home. Thinking that the problem is with the rear wiper control, I removed the left side panel and the switch. Then I removed the wire harness from the switch. Put the fuse back and the pump started running again. So the rear washer runs without the switch in the circuit. Is there a relay attached to the washer fluid container or does it go through the computer????? Is anyone familiar with this problem or the circuits involved.. So.Fla. is the bug capitol of the US and not the place to not have windshield washers.....Thanks
