Can't we create a large search button? I can't believe there is yet ANOTHER new post about raising the H3. I mean come on now. It's not like he is a new user.

I gotta admit, when you first come to this forum, the search feature does not jump out at you.

Sides IK doesn't want us diggin up old stuff.

weve highlighted the search option at some sites...posted the link elsewhere...made pinned threads at the top of every section, and no matter what we do, it doesnt change....at some sites, we have made elaborate FAQ write ups in the new member section, yet people still ask the same questions...

I just wish more people were like me.... hell... we wouldn't need moderators if they were all like me...

most people would rather start a new topic than search...just easier and searching doesn't help your post count...lol.

you still can bump it and post your experience.... the new threads are just lame.... but when people like MRDM1 start them and they get two replies... now that makes me smile...

especially now that he is chilling with ZYNE'S ride...

the only reason I hate bringing back old posts is because it brings up names of people that are no longer here.....names that we, and the board don't need reminding of. But yea I hate having a post per page on the same damn topic. I say if it isn't on the first 5 pages then post a new one...honestly I don't know what the right answer would be.

the biggest problem is the fact that so much different terminology is used in the automotive world. hell, even searching for a forum..some people call them message boards, some people call them forums, and depending on what you search for, you get different answers...

90 day topic lock....

the old thread can be used to reference on a complex subject.... but depending on how complex it is it probably is still active...

take a huge forum like the corvette forum.... not Patrick's... the other one.... page 5 of a forumis 1-4 days old....
