Maybe......The thread in OFF TOPIC about the gun collection has offended LawWyfe (Sarah) she seems pretty pissed...what if anything do we do about the thread?

I'm guilty of contributing to it...course I'm a NRA guy and love guns too...so I saw nothing wrong..My oversight...So

At the risk of making myself appear unpopular and prudish...WTF???!! Is this pic appropriate posting content here??? Don't get me wrong, we have a small arsenal as well and I more than know my way around a gun...but I find this highly questionable that this person would post a pic like this for all the world to see on a public forum!
Perhaps it bothers me so because we had an acquaintance in the law enforcement field who was of all things the agency firearms instructor...he was a responsible person...he trained his kids that these were not toys...came home one time, left his gun while chatting with a buddy on top of the fridge...his kid spied it and was showing a neighbor chum...shot the chum and killed him! My apologies in advance for this PM and I would normally not be offended by most anything posted here...but this...what do you think?

 

Sounds like she is pissed about the one with the kid. Is that the case?

We could just get him to delete the kid pics? I agree that the one pic was questionable.

All fixed..I think Sarah was puffing out here chest a little on this one..but what the hey, she's a valued member and I believe has a bigger say in things than most ..

He had pictures of his arsonal..But the one that got Sarah riled up about was one with his daughter holding a real bazooka..

Hell I was shooting a 32 lever action in competition when I was 6 years old....I didn't see the picture in question but as an NRA supporter and a redneck at large I don't see the problem. I tend to believe that whatever the pic was it would be covered by both freedom of speech and the right to bear arms.....just my .02c

 

I agree with you Mike in principle..but we are dealing with some folks herethat have certain sensitivites if you know what I mean..the guy was real nice about it and made no fuss at removing the kid picture...Alls well as they say.
