Default Water leak problem

I have a hummer h3 2006. Recently I have had a puddle of water in the floor board on the drivers side. Only when it rains. I do have it parked on a hill with the front end facing the slop side. I do notice when I pull out of the drive way in reverse and it levels out I hear water running down the driver side front panel in between the side window on the driver side and the windshield. I am guessing the water is getting in under the trim going from the top of the windshield on sides to the bottom of the windshield. Has anyone else had leaking issues. Yes I do have a sun roof and I checked the trim and it's not wet near there. Please help

It is normal to hear the water running down the sides in the posts in the sides of the windshield. That's where the channels for the water to run are. I would be that your drains are plugged, so the water is not being channeled out under the vehicle. Check all the drain holes and make sure they are clear from any obstructions,

I spent yesterday evening doing this. drilling out the rubber X in the end grommets on the front. and cutting the ends of the grommets on the rear.

What is the best way to solve that problem. Do you have step by step instructions to fix it?

You probably have plugged sun roof drains. Search that.

Hey Doc...just for the heck of it I did a search for 'Sun Roof Drain Fix', and 'Plugged Sun Roof Drain', and neither search pulled up my thread on repair. I forgot my exact wording for the thread title, and even I had a hard time finding it. The search function is a great tool, but could maybe be set-up to be more intuitive? Here ya go Timothy L. I made sure my lines were connected to the sunroof, and I drilled out the x in the front's grommet and I cut the rears ends to open it up . day two today I spent more time getting even more water out. continuously squeezing the padding under the carpet and sucking the water out. then putting a blow dryer under the carpet in different spots for hours.
