so, my bookshelves were overflowing, and this curtain rod wasn't being used - still had some maple left over from the cabinet build so i didn't want to see it go to waste . . .



that was the smallest chain i could find that would hold the weight of the books - maybe overkill, but the shelf won't be falling anytime soon.

i don't think the shelf is big enough Bob, it's only 10 feet long.

And there aren't enough chains to support all that weight. Maybe if Muddy added some steel pipe columns...

damn Shorty...thats sweet. Funny thing is the other night I was coming home and passed a yellow h2 on my street...then when I got in the house there were chains just like that next to my wife in bed...hmmmm....did you make her a shelf too?

uh, actually, "The Shelf" is on page 385 of the Impossible Positions Manual. We thought the chains would help for support . . . . . . .
